Increasing material flows along the processing chains in the wood industry contribute significantly to climate change. However, there is great potential for reducing CO2 emissions. Based on proven innovative cross-border evaluation and monitoring tools developed by the partner "Holz von Hier", the project makes this potential accessible. Based on proven innovative cross-border evaluation and monitoring tools developed by the partner "Holz von Hier", the project makes this potential accessible. The project aims to reduce the impact of low-carbon material flows in wood production on the climate. The project will develop and develop policy guidelines in the participating communities. They provide decision-makers with control tools to actively promote climate-friendly, regional timber. The project takes into account an important, but unconsidered aspect of sustainability in the public construction industry. Currently, specific information is missing for the decision makers. An innovative intelligent network is being set up to support the achievement of the project objectives. Through the use of new communication technologies, the project is supported and transnationally aligned.
